With over twenty years of software development experience, Stuart Jones offers in-depth expertise in service oriented architecture (SOA), web services (REST, SOAP, WS-*), web-enabled applications, object oriented design, message queuing, streaming media and database design. Dr. Jones also provides consulting services in the areas of business requirements gathering, product design and offers training in Microsoft .Net technologies. Before starting his consulting career, Dr. Jones worked on distributed systems applications for Apollo Computer and was a key member in building Boston Technology into the world's leading provider of voicemail systems. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from SUNY-Stony Brook and is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Also a recognized composer of modern chamber music, which often employs computer-generated sounds, Dr. Jones earned his PhD in Music Composition from Columbia University. His music is performed in concert halls and music festivals throughout the United States and Europe.
